Argentine Giant Cactus stem cutting 12-18" long. Shipped calloused. Grown in Nevada, USA.
This cactus has incredible white night blooms as big as 8-inch flowers 4-5 times in a summer. Each bloom only lasts 24 hours.
Protect your hands and fingers. When handling prickly and spiny cacti, it is always a good idea to wear gloves and use tools like tongs or pieces of cloth to protect your fingers and hands.
Many cacti can be propagated successfully by stem cuttings. This stem cutting is taken from an existing mature plant, then allowed to dry and callous. You will receive a ready-to-plant cactus stem. Use well-draining soil for your new plant. You can pot it or plant it directly in the soil in your garden if the climate permits. USDA hardiness zone 9a to 11b: from 20 °F (−6.7 °C) to 50 °F (+10 °C).
Don't forget to water when the soil dries out. The cuttings will eventually start rooting from the cut end and start growing as a new plant.
How big do Argentine giants grow?
